About Our 8' Utility Trailer Plans

Plans for our 8' wide tandem axle utility trailers have an actual deck width of 86" and the over all width of the trailer is right at 8' wide. We offer three sizes of the 8' utility trailers, 14', 12' or 10' long trailers. All three of these trailers have a gvwr of 7,000#. Our 8' utility trailer plans are for tandem axle trailers and include the 4' ramp gate plans.

 

All of our trailer plans come with complete step by step instructions and materials list. You also get a free file on installing electric brakes in case you may want them. These trailers are not hard to build and you can save a ton of money by building your own trailer. Plus we saved over $1000 on the cost of materials and we tell you how we did it in the plans!

 

We also give you the instructions for building the trailer with a wood deck or a metal deck, so you can choose what best suits your needs.

 

The plans contain over 40 pages of step by step building instructions with all of the drawings and measurements you need to enable you to build with confidence. The measurements are in Impreial measurements but we also included a conversion chart from Imperial to Metric.
